The University of Minnesota offers a coursework toward a state teaching license and masters degree in family education completely online. Each course consistently employs elements for learning aimed at the development of professional competencies. They also adhere to principles of effective learning, including social engagement, reflective assessment, instructor modeling and facilitation and tailoring to individual learning. This presentation will highlight the elements of instruction design for online learning and features of delivery that contribute to student success. And it will review integration elements across courses and learning experiences that support the student to achieve degree completion.
