On-line magic

I have participated in and taught on-line courses and sometimes they are satisfactory, at other times not.
There is some force needed to get people active and interested on-line. Don't tell me it's one or two active members who get the others interested because that's often not enough.
When things work, however, it's magic.
- Works well or even better for some individuals than face to face communication.

Am I saying here that face to face is better than on-line? I don't know because both can be a failure.

Like what I'm writing here, I'm not sure anyone would enjoy having this conversation with me. But I'm expressing myself and while I'm doing that no one can contradict me so I can go on fumbling and making a fool of myself and can not be bothered with the reaction I will get, or most likely the lack of it.
I'm sure my husband would not be interested in this discussion with me on a Saturday morning.

I decided to set up this group here in English and put a website on it that refers to a NING social network with this name where we could become members. But it might also be a good idea to keep a group here with English as a main language for potential non-Icelandic speaking/writing members in our community.
